The governor signed the bill on June 16, 2011 and it becomes effective September <br />1. 2011. <br />Staff has prepared an ordinance amending the City's Code of Ordinance, Chapter 34, Sect. 34 -166 (Definitions). <br />The ordinance incorporates changes necessary to comply with recent state law changes and would become effective <br />fourteen (14) days after passage. <br />Action Required by Council: <br />Consider approval or other action on an ordinance amending the City's junk motor vehicle regulations <br />Approved for City Council Agenda <br />Ron Bottoms, City Manager <br />Date <br />
