As allowed by Texas <br />Transportation Code Sec.681.011(f), the proposed ordinance would adoptthe entirety of Texas <br />Transportation Code Sec. 681.011into Chapter 70 of the City’s Code of Ordinances, to better <br />provide for application of state law against violators illegally parked on either public and private <br />property that is designated in compliance with the identification requirements for disabled <br />parking underTexas Commission of Licensing and Regulation standards and specifications, <br />within the city limits of La Porte. <br />Action Required by Council: <br />“Sec. 70-184 “Disabled Parking <br />Consider approval or other action for the addition of Article V, <br />Violations” toChapter 70 “Traffic and Vehicles” of the Code of Ordinances. <br />Approved for City Council Agenda <br />Corby D.
