Technical Specifications to RFP #13507 — GEN 648 Main Street <br />Minimum requirements to satisfy the requirements of the project include, but may <br />not be limited to: <br />1. Provide underground electrical outlets to each existing tree well on both the <br />north and south sides of Main Street between 5t" Street and Broadway. <br />Electrical service will be governed by either one or two circuits, capable of <br />providing electricity to <br />a. Provide holiday lighting for existing trees on a photocell or timer <br />b. Provide electricity to at least 4 vendors for special events, minimum <br />20 ampere service <br />2. Provide electrical outlets at the intersections of Main and 2"d, Main and 3ra <br />Main and 4t", Main and 5t" and on the west side of Main at Broadway that <br />will allow portable lighting to be utilized and is sized to meet the demand of <br />said portable lighting. In addition, one permanent four-Oplex outlet with 20 <br />ampere circuit is to be installed on the east side of Broadway on East Main <br />to provide electricity for sound system(s) (choirs, etc.) <br />3. Utilize and upsize if necessary, existing city electrical service along Main <br />Street, including meters at Broadway, 2nd Street and 4t" Street. Additional <br />electrical service points are to be installed through CenterPoint, as <br />necessary to fulfill the design requirements. <br />4. Identify existing utilities locations and utilize that information to develop <br />technical plans and detailed drawings as needed prior to any utilization of <br />boring equipment, concrete saw cuts, etc. required to provide underground <br />conduit from existing and new electrical service to meet these <br />specifications. Install any specific equipment (distribution boxes, etc.) <br />needed to fulfill the requirements. Electrical junction boxes are to be placed <br />at grade. Construction drawings are to be stamped by a licensed Texas <br />Civil Engineer <br />5. Some portable electrical components are required (e.g., portable lighting). <br />The City will work with the successful firm to develop the specific <br />requirements of any proposed electrical components of this type where <br />specific information may be unknown at this time. <br />6. Repair to original conditions any disturbed concrete sidewalk, street or other <br />appurtenance. Leave worksite broom clean upon completion of work. <br />7. As built drawings shall be provided to and become the property of the City <br />of La Porte upon completion of the project and prior to final payment. These <br />drawings must be in an electronic format (e.g., *.pdf or *.dwg). <br />
