The immediate availability of these items reduces the time <br />that water is shut-off for the citizens and reduces amount of water leaking into roads, alleys, and <br />ditches. If the items are not available, utility crews would have to drive into Houston to purchase <br />the parts, significantly decreasing productivity and efficiency. <br />Action Required by Council: <br />Consider approval or other action authorizing the City Manager to enter into contracts with HD <br />Supply, MDN Enterprises, and Coburn's Supply for the annual supply of water and sewer <br />supplies in the amount of $86,494.36. <br />Approved for City Council Agenda <br />Corby D.
