We strongly recommend <br />with the Houston Airports District Office <br />building codes and zoning ordinances with <br />that you communicate frequently <br />to coordinate your application of <br />our airspace analysis. <br />The problem of achieving compatible land use has been recognized by <br />Congress in its recently enacted Airport and Airway Development Act. This <br />new Act contains provisions not previously included which allow the Federal <br />Government to participate in the acquisition of land, purchase of noise- <br />suppressing equipment, the construction of physical barriers and landscaping <br />for the purpose of diminishing the effect of aircraft noise. If you have a <br />noise problem which you feel could be eliminated or reduced by participating <br />in one of the provisions of the Act, you are invited to discuss it with the <br />Airports District Office. <br />We would be most interested in learning what measures have been taken to <br />achieve compatible land use at your airport and in receiving your suggestions <br />as to how we can mutually foster this program.
