APPROVAL OF PAYMENT TO JAY MARKS CHEVROLET FOR FIVE <br />1974 CHEVROLET AUTOMOBILES IN THE AMOUNT OF 20,100.00 <br />PLUS TRADE IN OF TWO 1972 DODGES - Motion by <br />Commissioner Christensen, seconded by Commissioner <br />Kibodeaux to approve the payment of $20,100.00 plus <br />trade in of two 1972 Dodges, to Jay Marks Chevrolet. <br />Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />Price, and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />14. APPROVAL OF PAYMENT TO JIM BALL INTERNATIONAL FOR ONE <br />Lass NU '1'KADE IN - Motion by Commissioner Price, <br />seconded by Commissioner Christensen to approve the <br />payment of $7,174.97, less no trade in, to Jim Ball <br />International for one 1974 International Dump Truck. <br />• Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />Price, and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />15. DISCUSSION OF DEPARTMENT PROJECTS - <br />.97 <br />(A) ARCO GASOLINE PUMPS AND TANKS - Mayor Thomas informed <br />the Commission that a gentleman from Arco had come to <br />the City and wanted the City to purchase the four <br />gasoline pumps, 2 - 1000 gallon tanks, and 2 - 500 gallon <br />tanks that are in the ground, from Arco, for $975.00. If <br />not, the tanks would be moved. Although we are purchasing <br />our gasoline from Gulf Oil, the tanks belong to ARCO. <br />Mayor Thomas further stated that he had informed the <br />gentlemen that the Commission might consider $500.00 for <br />the purchase of said pumps and tanks. The gentleman was <br />to check back with his company before any commitment <br />could be made. <br />• <br />
