PIPELINE SPECIFICATIONS <br />• Proposed Work: <br />Construct a pipeline which will cross Highway 225 at Underwood <br />Road. See Specification No. E-855-8973-A,. attached.' <br />Pipeline Specifications <br />Pipe.Size: 18.00" O.D. x-9.344_w.t., X-52 line pipe <br />Insulation. 2" thick Urethane -Foam with an extruded <br />jacket of high density Polyethylene <br />Cover: 48" minimum <br />Casing: 26" O.D. x 9.375" w.t.', X-52 line pipe <br />Maximum Line Pressure: 1,400 psig <br />Maximum Temperature: 1650F <br />Service: No. 2 through No. 6 fuel oils <br />•Pipeline Installation <br />All crossings of existing streets listed on this project will <br />be bored through and cased through one foot beyond each side <br />of the right-of-way. <br />All crossings of proposed streets will be installed in an open <br />cut trench cased one foot beyond each side of the established <br />right-of-way and backfilled to restore normal surface conditions. <br />The design and installation of the pipelines will comply with <br />regulations as set out in.the Minimum Federal Safety Standards <br />for Liquid Pipelines relating to transportation of liquids by <br />pipeline (part 195, title 49, Code of Federal Regulations) and <br />the American National Standard Code for Pressure Piping "Liqu'id <br />Petroleum Transportation Piping Systems" (ANSI B31.4-1974) <br />specifications. <br />No obstruction of normal traffic.through the streets being <br />_crossed is anticipated during the time of.construction. <br />
