r • to have a much higher Ur_iority for funding than an independent application processed by Bayshore Lunicipal Utility Distripct vaould have ; and 44IIER't:,AS, a joint applica.ti_on. and joint effort would benefit the r_cgion and avoid duplication. i10W, THLREI'ORE, Bls IT RESOLVED BY TH1; BOAitD OF SUPERVISORS OF '.I'tIL BAYSI-iORL MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT' T'rIAT Said Boar.cl of Supervisors hereby designates the City of La Por-tc, Texas as its agent to apply for and obtain a federal Cr:.r.,,{:*:uction Grant under EPA Law Number 92-500 as apart of ~.,,i:-'_ as an amendment to the pending application for such a grant by t-he City of La Porte, and authorizes the City of La Porte • to proceed with said application tl-irough step one as described hereinabovc ~aher~in an infiltration inflow analysis and a sanitary sewer evaluation survey, if needed, and a faci]_i•ty plan will be conducted and prepared, all of which will be necessary whether Bayshore Municipal Utility District proceeds with this project as a joint application with the City of La Porte or whether it must proceed with its own application. Therefore, there is hereby appropriated a sufficient amount of money to repay the City of La i.~ortc for any expenditures it must advance as the agent for Bayshore Municipa]_ Utility District far step one, for any cos't's actually incurred by reason of the inc~lu~~ion of Bayshore Municipal Utility District in t1-.~ application f_or a construc-L--ion grant. • This resolution shall be effective upon the passage by the City of La Porte of a resolution or ordinance of similar content rcf_lec-ti_n.g said City's acceptance of the role of agent in said application.
