<br />AN°, ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 780, THE CITY OF LA PORTE
<br />ZONING ORDINANCE, BY CHANGING THE CLASSIFICATION OF THAT
<br />CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND HEREIN DESCRIBED; AND PROVIDING AN
<br />EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE:
<br />Section le The City Commission of the City of La Porte
<br />hereby finds, determines and declares that heretofore, to-wit;
<br />on the 22nd day of February, 1978, at 6:00 o°clock P.M., a
<br />joint public hearing was held before the Planning and Zoning
<br />Commission, and the City Commission, of the City of La Porte,
<br />Texas, pursuant to due notice, to consider the question of
<br />the possible re-classification of the zoning classification

<br />Section 3. Subsequent to such public hearing, the City
<br />of La Porte Planning and Zoning Commission met in special
<br />• - session on February 2~, 1978, to consider the changes in
<br />classification which were the subject of-such joint public
<br />hearing, The City Commission of the City of La Porte is in
<br />receipt of the written recommendations .of the City of La Porte
<br />Planning and Zoning Commission, by letter dated February 23,
<br />1978, the original of which letter is attached hereto as
<br />"Exhibit C,°' incorporated by reference herein, and made a
<br />• part hereof for all purposese
