• Status Report - SWB Case <br />Page 2 <br />The steering committee subsequently decided to hire the firm of Touche-Ross <br />-to work as the cities° consultant in the SWB case. Don Butler, TML Utility <br />Counsel, will act as lead counsel in this effort and will be assisted by Galen <br />Sparks, Assistant City Attorney of Dallas, and Harriett Hubacker, Asst. City <br />Attorney of Houston. <br />In order to present an effective case, it will be necessary to have the financial <br />support of all cities served by SWB. It is the request of the steering committee <br />that each such city pay 2-1/2� per capita (based on 1970 population) to defray <br />the cost of the consultants. Any excess collections will'be refunded upon the <br />final termination of the case. <br />Enclosed is an authorization for your:city's participation in the case. Please <br />return (with your check payable to TML-Southwestern Bel. Rate Case Trust <br />Fund) as soon as possible so that your city can be a part of this vital effort. <br />0 <br />0 <br />
