• <br />Article 2 - Scope of Activities <br />• <br />2.1 TAMU <br />Studentsdesignated by the Head of the Department of Urban and Regional <br />Planning shall participate in this program in order to fulfill the re- <br />quirements toward their degree. TAMU activities: <br />(a) Sketch plan for La Porte and potential annexation areas which will <br />include the following elements: <br />- Land Use and Density Plan <br />- Circulation Plan <br />- Utility Systems Plan, including Drainage <br />In connection with this sketch plan a representative analysis of land <br />uses will be prepared, including mapping of land use in particular areas <br />• of the city. An economic assessment of development opportunities and of <br />housing demand by type of dwelling unit will accompany the land use anal- <br />' ysis. <br />(b) Subdivision Regulations <br />Technical provisions fora new subdivision regulation will be drafted. <br />Graphic illustrations will be provided for proper interpretation of com- <br />plex engineering standards and specifications. <br />(c) Zoning Regulations <br />Technical provisions for a new zoning ordinance will be drafted and <br />graphically illustrated as needed for proper interpretation. Zoning <br />map revisions will be suggested as appropriate. <br />• The instruments prepared under items (b) and (c) above will be presented in a <br />form suitable for review by the city attorney and in consultation with other <br />Page 2 of 5 <br />
