this study was athree- to five-year plan for county data processing, which includes <br />detailed recommendations and schedules for improving the technical resources <br />available within Data Processing to meet a comprehensive systems plan adopted by <br />the County Commissioners. <br />Project Team <br />LWFW's experience indicates that the scope of this study requires a special mix of <br />professional expertise, including: <br />e Independence of the consulting firm from ties to any particular computer <br />software, hardware, or service bureau. <br />• Expertise with all aspects of municipal governmental systems and operations. <br />• In-depth expertise in selection of data processing systems and in developing <br />implementation plans for municipal governmental entities. <br />• Project management experience in controlling a study such as this, to assure <br />quality and on-time delivery. <br />Our project team organization and assigned staff have been specifically selected to meet <br />these requirements. Most members of this team have worked on each of the studies <br />presented in the Relevant Experience subsection and will actively participate during this <br />study. The organization of this team is presented in Exhibit II. <br />It is LWFW's policy to place each engagement under the direction of a principal. The <br />Engagement Principal will provide overall quality control and technical direction of the <br />engagement, provide staff personnel at the office level, and participate in the engage- <br />ment as necessary. <br />Mr. Gary S. Thompson, P.E., will be the Engagement Principal for this study. <br />Mr. Thompson directs LWFW's work with local governments. ~1Ar. Thompson is a registered <br />Professional Engineer, and also holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration. He <br />has eleven years of consulting experience with LWFW, and a significant portion of this <br />experience is with local government clients. Mr. Thompson has been the Engagement <br />Principal on data processing related management systems and technical studies for a <br />number of local governmental clients, including those described in the Relevant <br />Experience subsection. <br />L~FW Grouj~ <br />-11- <br />~ ~i <br />
