Their daily contact with surveying and engineering <br />problems provides them with the needed insight to produce practical and <br />well-documented software. <br /> <br />(3) The Lewis & Lewis Company provides an update service which will keep us <br />abreast of ongoing changes and enhancements at a cost of $100/year. <br /> <br />(4) The necessary software to begin operations is marketed at an estimated <br />cost of $1,500.00. <br /> <br />Hardware <br /> <br />(1) Hewlett-Packard hardware has an extensive track record in the technical <br />fields and also has Houston based maintenance operations. <br /> <br />(2) The City already has a Hewlett-Packard 41C calculator which can be used <br />as a field data collector with the HP 86 B computer. <br /> <br />(3) The Hewlett-Packard offers extensive upward mobility including the <br />potential of automated drafting. <br /> <br />~-~ <br />
