<br />_ <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />_ <br /> <br />e <br /> <br /> <br />"CCi;< >:'frTA1!"f}~~Y~~"'+ <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT OF LEASE <br /> <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS ~ <br />~ <br />COUNTY OF HARRIS ~ <br /> <br />Th is Agreement of Lease made by and between FRATERNAL ORDER OF <br /> <br />EAGLES, BAYSHORE AREA 2753, known herein as LESSOR, and the CITY OF <br /> <br />LA PORTE, a municipal corporation, known herein as LESSEE, both of <br /> <br />Harris County, Texas, <br /> <br />WIT N E SSE T H: <br /> <br />LESSOR does, by these presents, lease and demise unto LESSEE <br /> <br />the following described property, lying and being situated in the <br /> <br />City of La Porte, Harris County, Texas, to-wit: <br /> <br />Lot Seventeen (17) through Twenty-four (24), <br />both inclusive, Block One Hundred Forty-nine <br />(149), TOWN OF LA PORTE, Harris County, <br />Texas, according to the map or plat thereof <br />recorded in the office of the County Clerk <br />of Harris County, Texas, reference to which <br />is here made for all purposes, <br /> <br />upon the terms, conditions, covenants and agreements following: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />The term of this lease shall be from the 1st day of June, 1983, <br /> <br />to the 31st day of May, 1984, and continuing automatically thereafter, <br /> <br />until cancelled by either party, upon sixty (60) days written notice <br /> <br />to the other party hereto. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />As renti for the use and occupancy of the leased premises, LESSEE <br /> <br />hereby agrees, obligates and binds itself to pay unto LESSOR the sum <br /> <br />of ONE DOLLAR ($l. 00) per year, plus the payment by the LESSEE of <br /> <br />the City of La Porte ad valorem taxes on the leased property hereof. <br /> <br />III. <br /> <br />LESSOR reserves the right to cancel this Lease at any time upon <br /> <br />sixty (60) days. written notice to LESSEE. <br /> <br />~' / <br />
