<br />t f • <br />u <br />AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES <br />• <br />MADE AND ENTERED INTO by and between the City of La Porte, Texas, <br />hereinafter called the "City," and Turner Collie & Braden Inc., <br />hereinafter called the "Engineer." <br />RECITALS <br />The City intends to plan, design, and construct a relief sanitary <br />sewer from the western area of the' City along Fairmont Parkway to the <br />existing City of La Porte Wastewater Treatment Facility. The City <br />also intends to plan, design, and construct improvements to the <br />• existing City wastewater treatment facility and to the existing <br />College View MUD wastewater treatment facility and lift station. <br />Such improvements to the above described sanitary sewer system and <br />wastewater treatment facilities are hereinafter referred to as the <br />"Project." <br />CONTRACTUAL UNDERTAKINGS <br />SECTION I <br />EMPLOYMENT OF ENGINEER <br />The City agrees to employ the Engineer and the Engineer agrees <br />to perform professional engineering services in connection with the <br />Project as stated in the Sections to follow and as is described <br />in further detail on the attached Exhibit A entitled "Scope of <br />• Services," and for having rendered such services, the City agrees <br />to pay to the Engineer compensation as stated in the Sections to <br />follow. The Enyineer intends to make available the services of <br />the personnel shown on the attached Exhibit B entitled "Organiza- <br />tion Chart" through the duration of the project. <br />• <br />-i- <br />~. ~ <br />
