The relief sanitary <br />sewer in conjunction with the existing Fairmont <br />Parkway trunk sewer is to convey year 2003 flows <br />to the City's main wastewater treatment facility. <br />b. Expansion of the City's main wastewater treatment <br />facility from an average capacity of 2.5 million <br />gallons per day (mgd) and a maximum wet weather <br />capacity of 6.25 mgd to an average capacity of <br />4.0 mgd and a maximum wet weather capacity of <br />16.0 mgd. <br />• c. Expansion of College View MUD Lift station to <br />convey flows from the abandoned College View MUD <br />wastewater treatment facility and its service <br />area to the proposed relief sanitary sewer on <br />Fairmont Parkway. <br />3. Furnish the City 15 copies of the preliminary design <br />report(s), including preliminary layouts, sketches, <br />and cost estimates. <br />C. Final Design~Phase - Basic Services <br />1. Establish the scope and advise the City of any soil <br />and foundation investigations or any design surveys <br />or special testing which, in the opinion of the Engi- <br />neer, may be required for the proper execution of the ., <br />• Project; and arrange with the City for the conduct of <br />such investigations, surveys, and tests. (The perform- <br />mance of these investigations and tests is not a part <br />of the Engineer's basic services, and compensation <br />therefor is not included in the Basic Charge; it may <br />be performed by the Engineer, by agreement with the <br />City, in which case compensation shall be determined <br />by the applicable portions of Section VI.) <br />• <br />-3- <br />E 36 <br />
