Services resulting from significant changes in extent <br />of the Project or its design including, but not <br />limited to, changes in size, complexity, City's <br />schedule, or character of construction or method of <br />financing; and revising previously accepted studies, <br />reports, design documents, or Contract Documents when <br />such revisions are due to causes beyond Engineer's <br />control. <br />10. Additional or extended services during construction <br />made necessary by (a) work damaged by fire or other <br />cause during construction, (b) a significant amount <br />of defective or neglected work of Contractor(s), <br />• (c) prolongation of the contract time of any prime <br />contract by more than 120 days, or (d) default by <br />Contractor(s), all through no fault of Engineer. <br />11. Provide one or more experienced and qualified Resident <br />Project Representatives, as approved by the City <br />Manager, one of whom shall be designated by the <br />Engineer as the Chief Representative. The Resident <br />Project Representative shall provide continuous, <br />on-the-site observation of the construction work, <br />including the material furnished and the workmanship <br />provided. The Chief Representative shall make a <br />daily written report to the City with respect to the <br />material furnished, the workmanship provided, and .. <br />the progress of the work, all in relationship to the <br />construction contract documents, provided, however, <br />the Resident Project Representatives need not be <br />registered professional engineers, and provided <br />further, that unless the circumstances otherwise <br />warrant, the Resident Project Representatives shall <br />not be required to make exh°austive on-the-site <br />• inspections to check the quality or quantity of the <br />-8- <br />~ ~~~ <br />
