<br />• EXHIBIT B <br />ADDITIONAL SERVICES AND TASKS <br />• <br />The following Scope of Services presents those tasks which HDR anticipates will <br />be required in the preparation of a Texas Department of Health (TDH) landfill <br />permit application for the Bay Area Boulevard site in La Porte, Texas. The <br />result of this effort shall be a a technically complete document which shall <br />satisfy TDH regulatory requirements. <br />Task 3100 Obtain Basic Site Information <br />Assist in acquiring, on behalf of the City, accurate topographic and <br />aerial maps of the proposed landfill site. Cost of these maps shall <br />be borne by the City separate from this agreement. Obtain from the <br />City a legal description of the property and plot plan of the site <br />showing the boundary survey, acreage, zoning classisification(s), <br />date, north arrow, and all drainage features. <br />Task 3200 Coordinate Geotechnical Exploration and Evaluation <br />Coordinate with the Geotechnical Engineer in the development of the <br />program for the sub-surf ace investigation. <br />Review sub-surf ace information with Geotechnical Engineers as a basis <br />• for the site design. <br />Task 3300 Site Design and Preliminary Application Preparation <br />The following is a detailed description of the tasks HDR anticipates <br />accomplishing during permit application preparation: <br />General Location Map <br />Prepare map showing location of site on a County highway map. <br />Topographic Map <br />Prepare map showing: <br />a. Location of site <br />b. One mile radius <br />c. Distance to landing strips and airports <br />d. Access roads <br />Land Use Map <br />Prepare a map showing surrounding land use. <br />Aerial Photo <br />• Prepared by others, supplement as required. <br />
