<br /> <br />• • <br />A aher Educat onal Facil t ea <br />The San Jacinto Junior College District which encompasses approximately 289 square <br />miles in southeast Harris County, including the City of La Porte, provides the <br />residents of the City with higher educational facilities. The College District has <br />three campuses; the Main Campus located adjacent to the City of La Porte on its west <br />side; the North Campus located north of the Houston ship channel, and the •South Campus <br />located just southwest of Pasadena within the city limits of the City of Houston. San <br />Jacinto College Offers two year educational programs leading to Associate of Arta and <br />Associate of Science Degrees. <br />In nearby Houston are the University of Houston, Rice University, Texas Southern <br />University, St. Thomas University and Houston Baptist College, all of which offer full <br />four year as well as post-graduate programs. - <br />San Jacinto Junior College - Maia Campus <br />/0 <br />
