<br />. . <br /> <br />" ' <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />JOINT PARKING AGREEMENT <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HARRIS <br /> <br />~ <br />~ <br />~ <br /> <br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS <br /> <br />----THEuS-TATE OF TEXAS <br /> <br />This Agreement, entered into on this the <br /> <br />18th day of August , <br /> <br />1987, by and between the La Porte Independent School District, with <br /> <br />its principal office at 724 S. Broadway, La Porte, Harris County, <br /> <br />Texas, hereinafter called "LESSOR" and the First Assembly of God <br /> <br />Church of La Porte, located at 316 E. Fairmont Parkway, La Porte, <br /> <br />Harris County, Texas, hereinafter called "LESSEE". <br /> <br />WIT N E SSE T H: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, LESSEE desires to expand its church facilities, on the <br /> <br />currently existing lot of record: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said expansion will necessitate an increase in parking <br /> <br />spaces attendant to said expanded church facility, as required by <br /> <br />City of La Porte Ordinance #1501, hereinafter referred to as the <br /> <br />Zoning Ordinance of the City of La Porte: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, such increase in parking spaces is beyond the number of <br /> <br />spaces LESSEE can provide on site to accomodate its expanded use: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Zoning Ordinance allows, in Section 6-600, for off- <br />site parking and joint parking to be utilized to satisfy parking <br /> <br />requirements on the conditional basis: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, LESSOR and LESSEE have met and determined: <br /> <br />a. That LESSEE's use of its facilities only saturates available <br /> <br />on-site parking on Sunday mornings, Sunday nights, Wednesday nights, <br /> <br />and various and infrequent other miscellaneous times: <br /> <br />b. That LESSOR's use of its parking facilities does not conflict <br /> <br />with LESSEE's use of such parking facilities: and <br /> <br />c. That LESSOR is willing to allow LESSEE to use its facilities <br /> <br />to satisfy LESSEE's parking needs for LESSEE's expansion, at the <br /> <br />times indicated above. <br />
