<br />STATE OF TEXAS x <br />S.Q~PU~~R SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />COUNTY OF HARRIS ~ <br />THIS CONTRACT, made and entered into on this day of <br />______________._._, 1988, by and between the City of La <br />Porte, a Texas Municipal Corporation, hereinafter referred to as <br />CITY and ~._, hereinafter referred to as <br />VENDOR with offices at <br />W 1" T' N E S S E T H: <br />WHEREAS, The City desires to update and iprove its computer <br />systems capacities through the purchase and installation of <br />computer equipment and computer software; and, <br />WHEREAS; the CITY through the proposal process has awarded <br />the contract for such services to the VENDOR; and <br />WHEREAS, the City and VENDOR desire to enter into a <br />contract for said services; <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual agreements <br />hereinafter stated, it is hereby understood and agreed by the <br />parties hereto as follows: <br />I. DEFINITIONS. <br />1) Training: Training shall include introduction to <br />the computer hardware and operating system. <br />2) Installation: Installation shall mean the <br />unpacking and assembling of equipment at the <br />CITY'S designated sites. Installation shall also <br />include a demonstration of the functionality of <br />all systems to be utilized on that particular <br />piece of equipment. The VE"JDOR shall also <br />provide a forty-eight hour burn-in period for all <br />computer hardware. <br />
