When it came time to <br />open bids, none had been received by Purchasing. <br />Purchasing inquired ii the tour monitor/defibrillatc~Y~ <br />companies had received the requests for bids, and apparently all <br />Lour were lost in the mail. Louis Rig~iy checked with the Legal <br />Department, and he told me it was alright to go ahead and <br />purchase the same type oL rnoni_tor_/def.ibrillator we purchased last <br />year. <br />This is a I'liysio-Control Life Pac-10 witki built in <br />noninvasive pacemaker. The price of our Life Pac-10 last year was <br />:8,720.00. Included in that purchase was a carrying case. This <br />year the purchase price is $8,'7'75.00. Included in this price are <br />two Fast-patch Adapters and one carrying case. <br />We have budgeted $`3,000.00 for the purchase of c <br />monitor/defibrillator in acc~~~nt # 500-517-821. a <br />With your approval I will send in an Agenda Request to g~~ <br />beLore Council on January 14, 1991 and proceed with the purchase. <br />
