INVOCATION BY REV. HENRY WALKER - PLEASANT HILL BAPTIST CHURCH The invocation was given by Rev. Henry Walker, pastor of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, La Porte, Texas. 3. CONSIDER APPROVING MINUTES OP THE REGULAR MEETING AUGUST 28, 1995 Motion was made bv Councilperson Sutherland to approve the minutes of AUQUst 28 as presented. Second by councilperson Clarke. The motion carried, 7 ayes, 0 nays, 1 abstain. Ayes: councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, McLaughlin, Porter, Gay, Clarke and Mayor Malone Nays: None Abstain: Councilperson Jack Maxwell .. .
