<br />Councilman Thrower Dead At 68
<br />
<br />City of. La Porte District 3 Councilman Robert (Bob) Thrower, 68, passed
<br />away Friday afternoon in a Houston hospital after a lenghty battle with a
<br />heart ailment.
<br />Thrower was in the tinal year of his second three-year term on the La Porte
<br />council. There was no word as of press time Friday as to when services
<br />would be held. It was expected that services would be held at the First
<br />Methodist Church of La Porte, under the direction of Grandview Funeral
<br />Home, and officiated by the Rev. Marlin Fenn.
