SEVERABILITY. If any provision, section, subsection, sentence, clause, or <br /> <br />phrase of this Franchise is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional, such invalidity or <br /> <br />unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this Franchise. It is the <br /> <br />intent of the City in adopting this Franchise that no portion or provision thereof shall become <br /> <br />inoperative or fail by reason of any inval!dity or unconstitutionality of any other .portion or <br /> <br />provision, and to this end all provisions of this Franchise are declared to be severable. <br /> <br />Section 33. PASSAGE AND EFFECTIVE DATE. This Franchise having been <br /> <br />published as required by Article VII, Section 7.01 of the City ~harter shall take effect and be in <br /> <br />force from and after sixty (60) days following its final passage and approval, and receipt by the City <br /> <br />of Grantee's acceptance filed pursuant to Section 31. Upon the effective date of this Franchise, any <br /> <br />Ordinance or Resolution extending the provisions of Ordinance 1775 beyond the effective date of <br /> <br />this Franchise is superseded. <br /> <br />Section 34. COMPLIANCE WITH FRANCHISE. In any dispute, claim or proceeding <br /> <br />pursuant to this Franchise, the Grantee shall have the burden of demonstrating its compliance with <br /> <br />each tennand condition of this Franchise for an purposes. <br /> <br />30 <br />
