A <br />recommended scope is included below. <br /> <br />· Project initiation meeting and information gathering <br />. Review current plans and ordinances related to trail development, as well <br />as plans by other area cities <br />· Provide input to telephone survey as relates to trails <br />· Inventory and prepare map mark-ups and descriptions of existing trails, <br />funded trails, and trail corridor opportunities with emphasis on access <br />from residential neighborhoods to parks and schools <br />. On-site feasibility analysis <br />· Develop criteria and rank alternative trail corridors <br />· Review cost estimates <br />· Prepare map mark ups of prioritized trail corridors <br />· Prepare concept plan mark-ups for key linkage areas <br />· Prepare trail/greenways Report preparation - including general trail <br />design guidelines, potential funding sources, and general trail <br />maintenance guidelines <br /> <br />Product - prepare trail plan for La Porte, in written and illustrative format. <br /> <br />Items Provided by City of La Porte- Provide current trail planning, list of <br />potential trails under consideration. <br /> <br />2.3. INCORPORATE CONCEPT PLANS FOR KEY AREAS <br /> <br />Prepare concept plans in sketch form for new parks or major recommended <br />improvements, up to a total of eight existing or new areas. <br /> <br />Concepts will use available photography or topography as scale bases, and will <br />be suitable for presentation to the public and for inclusion in the master plan. <br />Prepare eight concept plans for areas recommended by design team and Staff. <br /> <br />Product - Provide concept plans for eight key areas in freehand sketch form. <br /> <br />Items Provided by City of La Porte- Provide previous concept plans in paper <br />or digital format.
