<br />10.1.3 The Contractor shall inform the Owner of any Federal or State inspection, and the <br />Owner will receive copies of all Federal and State inspection reports, citations, penalties, <br />abatement dates, etc. <br /> <br />10.1.4 The Contractor shall give full cooperation to the Owner, who may periodically <br />observe the Project Work Site without prior notice. <br /> <br />10.2 SAFETY OF PERSONS AND PROPERTY <br /> <br />Add Subparagraphs 10.2.8 and 10.2.9 asfollows: <br /> <br />10.2.8 The Contractor and each Subcontractor, prior to final payment, shall submit a <br />statement on their letterhead certifying as to the best of their information, knowledge, and <br />belief, no asbestos or asbestos containing materials have been used in their portion of the <br />project'" . <br /> <br />10.2.9 Prior to payment of retain age and final payment the Contractor, each Subcontractor <br />involved with the potable water system shall furnish a notarized statement certifying that <br />lead or lead bearing materials have not been incorporated into the potable water system. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 11 - INSURANCE AND BONDS <br /> <br />11.1 CONTRACTOR'S LIABILITY INSURANCE <br /> <br />At Subparagraph 11.1.1, revise to the first sentence as follows: <br /> <br />add "acceptable to the Owner" after "a company or companies....". <br /> <br />At Subparagraph 11.1.2, delete the first sentence in its entirety and replace it with the <br />following: <br /> <br />The insurance required by Subparagraph 11.1.1 shall be written for not less than the <br />following limits or the limits required by law, whichever coverage is greater: <br /> <br />The Owner and the Architect and all Consultants listed on the Title Page of the Project <br />Manual shall be an Additional insured on the Contractor's policy as to the subject job. <br />Provision shall be included for Waiver of Subrogation against Owner and Architect and its <br />Consultants. <br /> <br />Kind of Insurance <br /> <br />11.1.2.1 Workmen's Compensation <br /> <br />Limits of Liability <br />Statutory <br /> <br />Employers' Liability (including all <br />States, U.S. Longshoreman & Harbor <br /> <br />Bodily Injury by accident <br />$550,000 per employee <br /> <br />19 <br />
