Also, the proposed calculator that Neal <br />Welch is developing be implemented to allow any employee to be able to get an estimate of <br />their insurance cost and their dependents cost at the current year budgeted City cost and for <br />one additional year. - A consensus of Council agreed with this recommendation. <br /> <br />Medical Disability - Council directed staff to bring back an option to consider for employees <br />with medical disabilities forced to retire be able to be eligible for health insurance. <br /> <br />Councilmember Rigby asked if Council wanted to consider or discuss items noted in <br />anonymous letter they received today. The consensus of the Council was no. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Council member Beasley to approve Ordinance 2004-2781-B- as <br />presented by Mr. Swanagan. Second by Council member Griffiths. Council to consider approval or other action regarding an ordinance amending the creation <br />ordinance of the Main Street Advisory Board. <br /> <br />Mayor Porter presented summary and recommendation and answered Council's questions. <br /> <br />Assistant City Attorney Clark Askins read: ORDINANCE 2004-2801-A-AN <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2004-2801, RELATING TO THE <br />CREATION OF THE MAIN STREET ADVISORY BOARD, BY REDUCING THE <br />NUMBER OF MEMBERS TO THE MAIN STREET ADVISORY BOARD FROM <br />ELEVEN (11) TO NINE (9); FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS <br />LAW; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Council member Beasley to approve the Ordinance 2004-2801- as <br />presented by Mr. Porter and reduce from 11 member to 9. Second by Council member <br />Moser. Council to consider approval or other action regarding an ordinance appointing members to <br />various Boards and Commissions and adopt the ordinance of choice regarding the Zoning <br />Board of Adjustment Chairman. <br /> <br />Mayor Porter presented summary and recommendation and answered Council's questions. <br /> <br />Note: Correction to ordinance being adopted as follows: Pat Muston position to expire <br />in 2009. <br /> <br />No changes to Zoning Board of Adjustment appointment of Chairperson by Council at <br />this time.
