Councilmember Rigby asked if Council wanted to consider or discuss items noted in anonymous letter they received today. The consensus of the Council was no. Motion was made by Council member Beasley to approve Ordinance 2004-2781-B- as presented by Mr. Swanagan. Second by Council member Griffiths. The motion carried Ayes: Mosteit, Moser, Beasley, Engelken, Rigby, Ebow, Clausen, Griffiths and Mayor. Nays: None Abstain: None 21. Council to consider approval or other action regarding an ordinance amending the creation ordinance of the Main Street Advisory Board. Mayor Porter presented summary and recommendation and answered Council's questions. Assistant City Attorney Clark Askins read: ORDINANCE 2004-2801-A-AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2004-2801, RELATING TO THE CREATION OF THE MAIN STREET ADVISORY BOARD, BY REDUCING THE NUMBER OF MEMBERS TO THE MAIN STREET ADVISORY BOARD FROM ELEVEN (11) TO NINE (9); FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. Motion was made by Council member Beasley to approve the Ordinance 2004-2801- as presented by Mr. Porter and reduce from 11 member to 9. Second by Council member Moser. The motion carried. Ayes: Mosteit, Moser, Beasley, Engelken, Rigby, Ebow, Clausen, Griffiths and Mayor. Nays: None Abstain: None 22. Council to consider approval or other action regarding an ordinance appointing members to various Boards and Commissions and adopt the ordinance of choice regarding the Zoning Board of Adjustment Chairman. Mayor Porter presented summary and recommendation and answered Council's questions. Note: Correction to ordinance being adopted as follows: Pat Muston position to expire in 2009. No changes to Zoning Board of Adjustment appointment of Chairperson by Council at this time. To be reconsidered next year. Main Street Advisory appointments were placed in positions as follows:
