CONTRACT PERIOD <br /> <br />This agreement shall become effective upon the date of final execution by the 8T A TE and shall be <br />completed by Auqust 31,2007 unless terminated in a manner defined herein. <br /> <br />2. SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED BY THE COUNTY <br /> <br />The COUNTY shall: <br /> <br />A. Complete the following project: <br /> <br />The qoal of the LEPC is to update and support existinG proGrams in our LEPC <br />boundaries. To strenqthen the Wally Wise GUY Proqram and the LEPC will host teacher <br />traininGs. The LECP will also host a Safety Fair to educate those that visit and work in <br />the area. ReinforcinG the information for residents educated throuGh mail outs and to test <br />the success of the existinG proGrams, the LEPC will also conduct a functional drill. <br /> <br />B. Provide the STATE the following deliverables: <br /> <br />1) Monthly progress reports as outlined in Section 6 below. <br />2) Monthly financial reports as outlined in Section 6 below. <br />3) A final project report as outlined in Section 6 below, together with a copy of <br />public education products. <br />4) A copy of any contract between La Porte. MorGan's Point. Shoreacres and any <br />vendor for products or services related to the project as stated in Section 2 above. <br /> <br />3. SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED BY THE STATE <br /> <br />The STATE shall provide planning assistance to the COUNTY in the form of guidance so the <br />COUNTY can timely complete the deliverables listed above. <br /> <br />4. COMPENSATION AND METHOD OF PAYMENT <br /> <br />A. The estimated total approved cost of the project which is the subject of this grant is: <br />Thirty one thousand dollars ($31,000.00) <br /> <br />R The maximum amount payable by the STATE under this agreement is: <br />Twenty four thousand eiGht hundred dollars ($24.800.00) <br /> <br />C. The COUNTY shall provide a cash or soft match of at least 20% of the total project cost or <br />at least: <br /> <br />)( <br /> <br />Six thousand two hundred dollars ($6.200,00) <br />
