On <br />January 14, 2008, the city council approved an agreement with Van De Wiele Engineering to <br />perform final design and bidding phase services for the Project. The Project was delayed due to <br />right-of-way issues between the County and private utility companies. The County recently gave <br />approval for the city to bid the Project. Bids were received on February 4,2010. <br /> <br />Van De Wiele Engineering has submitted a proposal to perform construction phase and limited <br />project inspection services. The cost for the proposed services is as follows: <br /> <br />Construction Phase (lump sum) <br />Project Inspection (hourly not to exceed) <br />Issue specific meetings (hourly not to exceed) <br />Total <br /> <br />$34,515 <br />57,600 <br />6.960 <br />$99,075 <br /> <br />Project inspection services are projected to average less than 20 hours per week, as needed. <br />Issue specific services are to address unforeseen issues and conditions that may be encountered <br />in the expanded right of way.
