<br />. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Ordinance No. <br /> <br />/J's- <br /> <br />, Page 2. <br /> <br />The Presiding Judge at the above specified polling places <br /> <br />shall appoint as many clerks as she deems necessary for the <br />proper conduct of said election at said polling place, provided <br /> <br />that at least two (2) clerks shall be appointed; but not more <br /> <br />than four (4) clerks shall be appointed. <br /> <br />Section 5. Absentee voting in said election shall be con- <br /> <br />ducted by the City Secretary, Mrs. Betty T. Waters, at her <br />regular office in the City Hall of the City of Lomax, Texas, <br /> <br />to which ballot applications and ballots voted by mail may <br /> <br />be sent. <br /> <br />Paper ballots shall be used for absentee voting. <br /> <br />'. <br />Such ballots shall conform to the requirements of Chapter 6 <br /> <br />of the Texas Election Code, as amended, and, in addition, <br /> <br />shall have printed thereon the following: <br /> <br />OFFICIAL BALLOT <br /> <br />Place an "X" in the square beside the <br />statement indicating the way you wish <br />to vote. <br /> <br />/ / FOR Consolidation with La Porte <br /> <br />/ / AGAINST Consolidation with La Porte <br /> <br />Said clerk shall keep said office open for absentee voting <br /> <br />during her regular working hours and in any event for at least <br /> <br />eight (8) hours on each day which is not a Saturday, a Sunday, <br /> <br />or an official State holiday. <br /> <br />Section 6. Voting at said election shall be by the use <br /> <br />of voting machines, and the ballots of said elections shall <br /> <br />conform to the Texas Election Code, as amended. <br />
