<br />City of La Porte <br />Interoffice Memorandum <br /> <br /> <br />To: All LPRAlTIRZ Board Members <br /> <br />From: Gretchen Black, EDC <br /> <br />Through: John Joerns, ACM <br /> <br />Date: February 21,2008 <br /> <br />Subject: Lakes of Fairmont Greens Update <br /> <br />The Special Conditional Use Permit for the Lakes of Fairmont Greens <br />Subdivision required the Developer to submit for approval the <br />Developer's Agreement (DA), Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions <br />(CCRs). The developer has submitted the developer's agreement and <br />CCRs. City Council approved these documents on January 28 and a <br />summary is as follows: <br /> <br />Developer's Agreement: <br /> <br />~ Construct all public infrastructures as per regulations and policies of <br />the City of La Porte and other regulatory agencies. <br /> <br />~ Construct the following public amenities, which will be public <br />domain and maintained by the Public Improvement District (PID): <br /> <br />. 8' wide concrete hike and bike trails along detention/amenity ponds <br />from Little Cedar Bayou Park to McCabe Road. <br />. 6' high masonry sound wall along State Highway 146 <br />. 4' high ornamental iron fence adjacent to the golf course. <br />. 6' upgrade wood fence with rot board and cap along Wharton <br />Weems Blvd. and McCabe Road. <br />. Approximately 4 school bus stops <br />. Landscaping <br />. Entry monumentation <br />. Reserves/open space (including Taylor Bayou & detention/amenity ponds) <br />. 8' wide pedestrian bridge over Taylor Bayou <br />. 1-2 acre park north of Wharton Weems Blvd. with play equipment, <br />tables, benches, BBQ pits, trash cans etc. <br />. Rear lot line fences adjacent to pedestrian trails and public <br />amenities. <br />
