Since the development of the <br />proposed apartments is only a single component of the plan, staffwill be addressing the <br />General Plan for the 107.356 acre tract as well as the 17 acre tract. <br /> <br />OVERALL GENERAL PLAN <br /> <br />Reauested Bv: <br /> <br />Mr. Edward Cooke and Mr. Edward Dutke, on behalf of Forest <br />Holdings L.L.P. <br /> <br />.' Location: <br /> <br />A 6.926 acre tract and a 100.430 acre tract out of the W. P. Harris <br />Survey, Abst. A-30, Harris County, Texas (Total site is <br />appro~imately 107.35 acres) The property is further described as <br />being located on Mc Cabe Road. <br /> <br /> <br />Present Land <br />Use Mao: <br /> <br />The southeast corner ofMc Cabe Road and New Highway 146 <br />indicates the corner is proposed for commercial use while the <br />remainder of the 107+ acres is proposed for low density residential <br />use. <br /> <br />Present Zonim!: <br /> <br />Planned Unit Development (p.U.D.), Neighborhood Commercial <br />(NC) and Low Density Residential (R-1) (See Exhibit A) <br /> <br />Aoolicant's <br />Reauest: <br /> <br />Approval of a General Plan and other submittals required by the <br />P.U.D. process for development of the entire 107+ acres. <br /> <br />Approval together with recommendation of the Special <br />Conditional Use Permit would enable applicant to proceed to City <br />Council for formal review and action. <br />
