Board of Adjustment <br />January 27, 2000 <br />#NCS 2000-001 <br />Page 5 of 5 <br />• Accept the applicant's landscape plan as being sufficient to meet current <br />City requirements. Include a provision to provide some landscaping <br />around buildings #2, #4, and #7. Include a provision to provide <br />irrigation for all landscaping. <br />Board Action: Mindful of the Board's charge to avoid and eliminate nonconformities <br />whenever and wherever possible, the Board has the authority to make the <br />following decisions: <br />• Affirm the Planning Director's recommendation to require 135 total <br />parking spaces on -site, or require an amount of parking less than the <br />recommended. <br />• Affirm the Planning Director's recommendation to accept the building <br />setbacks as they currently exist, or require the building setback <br />encroachments to be reduced or eliminated. <br />• Affirm the Planning Director's recommendation to accept the number of <br />dwelling units per acre as currently exists, or require a reduction in the <br />number of dwelling units per acre. <br />• Affirm the Planning Director's recommendation to accept the submitted <br />landscape plan and require additional landscaping around buildings #2, <br />#4, and #7 and require irrigation for all landscaped areas, or require other <br />amounts of landscaping at the Board's discretion. <br />M. <br />
