Fairmont Pkwy. <br />La Porte, TX 77571 <br />• U,Q <br />q~v <br />City of La Porte <br />Established 1892 <br />September 1, 2004 <br />~~~~lV~~ <br />c:. ~ ~ 1 2004 <br /> <br />RE: Zoning Board of Adjustment Meeting on August 26, 2004 <br />Agenda Item #6, Variance Request #V04-009; Proposed Holiday Inn Hotel <br />Dear Mr. Sabo: <br />In my capacity as Chairman of the City of La Porte Zoning Board of Adjustment, I <br />would like to ask that you place Agenda Item #6 regarding the height variance for the <br />proposed Holiday Inn .Hotel back on the ZBOA's agenda for the meeting on September <br />23, 2004. <br />The reason for this request is that the Board voted in favor of the variance by 3 to <br />1, but due to the absence at Thursday's meeting of two regular members and one <br />alternate member, a bare quorum of the ZBOA was available to hear the issue. The <br />issue failed because of the four-person majority required in Section 106-195.
