Sharp, with the following Aldermen <br />responding to roll call: P.L. Benson, r.F. Boyle, J.J. Roark, Fred R. <br />Ruff. <br />r2inutes of the last regular meeting of ~~arch ll+th and special meeting; of <br />R"arch 23rd were read and approved. <br />say Shore Prr Geo. D. Francklow appeared before the council in the .interest of the <br />Park property owners in Bay Shore Park and submitted to the City a dedication <br />of the streets of that area to the City. This instrument was turned over <br />to the City Attorney for consideration and report at the next Council meet- <br />ing. <br />Baldwin ?v1r F.T. Baldwin and his attorney ~4r Barksdale Stevens appeared before the <br />Council on behalf of the case of r~r Baldwin against the City of La Porte. <br />~r Stevens addressed the Council for his client and an extended discussion <br />was engaged in but no agreement was reached. <br />A13erman Agee came in to the meeting at this point. <br />Insurance The City. Secretary reported that the insurance policy on the American La <br />France ladder truck had been delivered to the City office and that the <br />Fire aYindstorm and Hail insurance policies on the City Hall and Fire Sta- <br />tion had been renewed by A.IvT. Mc Kay, Agt. <br />~:u3nble Co The City Secretary reported that the misunderstanding in the Humble Oil do <br />bill Refg. Co. invoice of January 31st had bean cleared up by the Baytown of- <br />fice and that the Company will Derry the s7na11 balance due by the City un- <br />til the City buys another order of paint. <br />Audit The City Secretary reported bids for the annual audit of the City books-had <br />Bic;g been received and t'ne y were ordered opened and tabulated, with the follow- <br />ing results: <br />'',~.D. Royston, per diem rate of X25.00 for senior accountant,~15.00 for jun- <br />ior accountant, maximum charge not to exceed X250,00. <br />*,~c Guire,Mazur & Co. $150.00, Smith Auditing Co.
