Council considered approving a repair bill for Gradall that <br />exceeded $3,000.00. <br />After discussion, motion was made by Council <br />approve payment of $7,000.86 to~H~iway Equipme <br />the Gradall. Council considered giving financial assistance to TML for the <br />Cities for Responsible Cable TV Coalition. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Graves to contribute $750.00 <br />as the City's portion to the Cities for Responsible Cable TV <br />• Coalition. Second by Councilperson Skelton. The motion carried, <br />9 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Matuszak, Graves, Pfeiffer, Gay, Skelton, <br />Westergren, Malone,~Longley and Mayor Cline <br />Nays : None <br />14. Administrative Reports <br />Mr. Owen reported that the Texas Department of Water Resources <br />had approved plans and specifications for the cleaning, TV <br />inspection and point repairs for portions of the sanitary sewer <br />collection system. This was on an EPA grant and is the re- <br />mainder of the original Tinker/McKnight project and covers part <br />of Fairmont Park. Will be bringing this back to Council very <br />soon to set a bid date for the ~projec~t. <br />A number of our staff have recently graduated from a Dale Carnegie <br />course and we are very proud of them.' Bob Herrera,.Deb~bie Cole, <br />Steve Gillett, Jackson Ray, Stan Sherwood, David Paulisseri, <br />Luis Morris and Paul Hickeribottom received their diplomas. They <br />attended on their own time, and he's looking forward to improved <br />job performance. <br />15. Council Action: <br /> <br />• Matuszak: Thanks to the Staff for all their work~in the recent <br />success in court on the injunction suit against the ~mob~ile home <br />
