<br />• • <br />• MINUTES <br />OF THE <br />PUBLIC HEARING AND REGULAR MEETING OF THE <br />LA PORTE CITY COUNCIL <br />NOVEMBER 28, 1984 <br />The public hearing regarding annexation of certain territory <br />situated north of Fairmont Parkway and west of the Southern <br />Pacific railroad tracks was called to order by Mayor Cline at <br />6:00 P.M. <br />Members of City Council Present: Mayor Virginia Cline, <br />Councilpersons Paula Bridges, Ed Matuszak, Linda Westergren, <br />Norman Malone <br />Members of City Council Absent: Councilpersons Betty Waters, <br />Lindsay Pfeiffer, Deotis Gay, B. Don Skelton <br />• Members of Citv Staff Present: Director of Administrative <br />Services Bob Herrera, City Attorney Knox Askins, City <br />Secretary Cherie Black <br />Others Preser..~.~: Pete Dudley, Bayshore Sun <br />Mayor Cline asked the City Attorney to review the boundaries <br />of the subject annexation. The City Attorney gave the <br />description and announced that the service plan was available <br />for review. (A copy of the service plan is attached to these <br />minutes.) <br />The Mayor asked if there was anyone present who wished to <br />speak in favor of the annexation. There was no response. The <br />Mayor asked if there was anyone present wishing to speak in' <br />opposition to the annexation.. There was no response. <br />The Mayor declared the public hearing closed at 6:02 P.M. <br />The agenda for the Called Regular Meeting was•then addressed. <br />1.
