Council considered the minutes of the regular meeting held <br />November 7, 1984. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Matuszak to approve the <br />minutes of the November 7 meeting as presented. Second, by <br />Councilperson Malone. The motion carried, 5 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Bridges, Matuszak, Westergren, Malone <br />and Mayor Cline <br />Nays: None <br />4. Council considered purchase of police vehicles through H-GAC <br />cooperative program. <br />Furies through H-GAC, at a unit price of $9 03.72 Second by <br />• Councilperson Matuszak. The motion carried, 5 ayes and 0 <br />nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Bridges, Matuszak, Westergren, Malone <br />and Mayor Cline <br />Nays: None <br />5. Council considered an ordinance closing West F Street between <br />Block 823 and Block 834, Town of La Porte. <br />The City Attorney read: ORDINANCE 1421 - AN ORDINANCE <br />VACATING, ABANDONING, AND CLOSING A PORTION OF THE RIGHT OF <br />WAY OF WEST "F" STREET, LYING BETWEEN BLOCK 834 AND BLOCK 823, <br />TOWN OF LA PORTS, AND BETWEEN THE WEST RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF <br />SOUTH SEVENTEENTH STREET, AND. BEING A TRACT OF LAND EIGHT FEET <br />BY TWO HUNDRED SIXTY SIX FEET, IN THE TOWN OF LA PORTS, HARRIS <br />COUNTY, TEXAS; FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW; <br />• AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br />Motion was made by.,_Counc~lperson~iiestergrent~adopt Ordinance <br />1421 as read by the Citv Attornev.
