Minutes, Public Hearing and Regular Meeting <br /> La Porte City Council <br /> December 19, 1984, Page 4 <br /> COOPERATION ACT, UPON THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS THEREIN <br /> SPECIFIED; FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION AND PAYMENT <br /> OF FUNDS TO SAID LA PORTE AREA WATER AUTHORITY FOR THE <br /> PURPOSES ABOVE SPECIFIED, ACCORDING TO THE CITY OF LA PORTE'S <br /> PRO RATA SHARE; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, CITY SECRETARY AND CITY <br /> ATTORNEY TO SIGN SAID CONTRACT IN THEIR RESPECTIVE CAPACITIES; <br /> FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS, LAW; AND PROVIDING <br /> AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br /> Motion was made bv Counciloerson Pfeiffer to adont Resolution <br /> 84-26 as read bv the Citv Attornev. Second by Councilperson <br /> Skelton. The motion carried, 7 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> Before the vote, Councilperson Waters asked that clarification <br /> be made on the 4.5 million gallons statement. Mr. Owen <br /> replied that it was 4.5 million gallons per day. That <br /> clarification will be added to the agreement. <br /> Ayes: Councilpersons Bridges, Matuszak, Waters, Pfeiffer, <br />. Skelton, Westergren, Malone <br /> Nays: None <br /> 10. Council considered final payment to Turner Collie & Braden for <br /> Comprehensive Maste~ Plan and transfer of $38,000 from the <br /> Contingency Fund. <br /> After discussion, motion was made bv Councilnerson Matuszak to <br /> table this item to a workshoD for further studv.. Second by <br /> Councilperson Skelton. The motion carried, 7 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> Ayes: Councilpersons Bridges, Matuszak, Waters, Pfeiffer, <br /> Westergren, Malone <br /> Nays: None' <br /> 11. Council considered a professional services agreement necessary <br /> for preliminary report and design of sanitary sewer lines to <br /> serve Battleground Vista Estates. <br /> After brief discussion, motion was made bv CouncilDerso~ <br /> M~lg!1~to_g12.12.r:ov~_Drofess ional services agreement wi th Don. <br /> .Grisham for nreliminarv renort and design of sanitary sewer <br /> lines to serve Battlearo~nd Vista Estat~s..
