Consent Agenda <br />Council considered a consent agenda as follows: <br />Consider approval to award bid #0861 for 75 Electric Golf Cars to E-Z GO Textron for the <br />amount of $211,050.00, less $93,750.00 trade in for a total of $117,300.00. Funds are <br />available in the Motor Pool for this purchase. <br />Golf Course Manager Alex Osmond presented summary and recommendation and <br />answered Council's questions. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Meismer to table. There was no second. <br />A second motion was made by Councilperson Griffiths to approve the bid as presented by <br />Mr. Osmond. Second by Councilperson Ebow. The motion carried. <br />Ayes: Beasley, Mosteit, Griffiths, Engelken, Ebow, Warren, Young and Malone <br />Nays: Meismer <br />Abstain: None <br />Consider approval to award bid for annual contract to supply liquid chlorine in the amount <br />of $33,496.00. <br />Director of Public Works Steve Gillett presented summary and recommendation and <br />answered Council's questions. <br />A motion was made by Councilperson Ebow to approve the bid as presented by Mr. <br />Gillett. Workshop was called to order by Mayor Norman Malone at 6:45 p.m. <br />Director of Public Works Steve Gillett presented the Landfill Feasibility Study. Staff <br />recommended tabling. <br />10. Closed Workshop and reconvened Regular Meeting at 7:18 p.m. <br />11. Administrative Reports <br />Assistant City Manager John Joerns informed Council the Chamber of Commerce <br />luncheon scheduled on July 17, 2002 has been cancelled. <br />12. Council Comments <br />Councilmembers Mosteit, Engelken, Ebow, Griffiths, Beasley, Warren, Young, and <br />Meismer brought items to Council's attention. <br />
