Thomas, seconded by Comm.Crofoot <br />to deny the Petition for Variance from Air Products <br />and Chemicals Inc.; to notify the State Air Control <br />Board of the denial; to ask them to make provisions <br />in their air control regulations for the control of <br />emmissions of Nitric Oxide and to try to regulate <br />design procedures and the installation of abatement <br />equipment prior to a plant going on stream. Motion <br />carried by the following~ote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Thomas, Kibodeaux and Crofoot. <br />Nays: None. <br />Absent: Commissioner Burgin. <br />+ + + <br />2. Motion by Comm. Crofoot, seconded by Comm. Thomas <br />to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of <br />December 21, 190 as presented. Motion carried <br />by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Thomas, Kibodeaux and Crofoot. <br />NAYS: None. <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Burgin. <br />+ + + <br />3. Motion by Comm. Kibodeaux, seconded by Comm. Thomas <br />to postpone for additional study the request of <br />Fred Westergren to pave one block on First Street, <br />between "F" and "G" Streets. Motion carried by <br />the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Thomas, Kibodeaux and Crofoot. <br />NAYS: None. <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Burgin. <br />+ + + <br />4. Eugene Hovey addressed the Commission in regards to <br />the yearly audit. Mr. Hovey presented a copy of the <br />audit to the Mayor and each Commissioner and suggested <br />they study the audit and meet with him in a workshop <br />session at a later date. <br /> <br />+ + + <br />
