EMERGENCY WELFARE SERVICES ASSISTANT CIVIL DEFENSE <br />COORDINATOR <br />Be responsible for emergency clothing, feeding, registration, <br />and family rehabilitation services, utilizing_the_facilities <br />and personnel of the State Department of Public Welfare, American <br />Red Cross, Salvation Army and other welfare agencies in accordance <br />with advanced agreements with them. <br />10. PERSONNEL AND FINANCE <br />DIRECTOR OF FINANCE <br />Be responsible for manpower support, including temporary transfer <br />of city employees to disaster duty, hiring of additional staff, <br />or recruitment of volunteers in emergencies if requested by <br />• particular city office; for coordinating temporary housing; for <br />issuing identification to city employees, volunteers and other <br />agencies to permit reaching disaster assignments; for making or <br />authorizing emergency purchases for city government; for pro- <br />viding suppies and food for EOC staff; for the preparation of an <br />SOP. <br />11. DAMAGE ASSESSMENT <br />TAX ASSESSOR <br />Be responsible for gathering information from department chiefs <br />and other Bourses so that the executive groups and all depart- <br />ments and agencies can make their decisions from the information <br />received;revision of property records to show results of a disaster <br />and protection of these records. Be responsible for transmitting <br />damage estimates on public and private property to the State and <br />Federal offices. <br />12. TRANSPORTATION <br />DIRECTOR OF TRANSPORTATION <br />OF I.S.D. <br />Be zes~onsible for coordinating local transportation resourses in <br />• emergencies; appointing assistants from transport industries as <br />needed; for assisting police department in planning and executing <br />movement of vehicular and pedestrian traffic in emergencies, in- <br />cluding movement to shelter; preparation of an SOP for transportation. <br />
