CONSIDER APPOINTING MEMBER TO WRECKER COMMITTEE - Motion by <br />Commissioner Cline, seconded by Commissioner Kibodeaux to <br />appoint Charles Mainor to the Wrecker Committee. Motion <br />carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Simons. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />20. CORRESPONDENCE - The following correspondence was read: <br />A. A letter to U.S. Industrial Chemicals Company in <br />response to their letter regarding planned expansion. <br />Motion by Commissioner Simons, seconded by Commissioner <br />Cline to authorize the Mayor to send a letter to U.S.I. <br />stating that the City feels there would be no controversy <br />over a NPDES permit. A copy of the letter is attached and <br />made a part of these minutes. Motion carried by the following <br />vote: <br />• AYES: Commissioners Love, Kibodeaux, Cline, and Simons. <br />NAYS: None. <br />B. A letter from Gulf Coast Community Services Association - <br />requesting a representative to be appointed a seat on the <br />Board of Directors of the Gulf Coast Community Services <br />Association. <br />C. A letter from House of Representatives - Jim Clark <br />regarding a ~-eeting on Ship Channel Safety, to be held <br />July 28, 1976, at 9:30 A.M. <br />D. A letter from the City of Valles in the form of a <br />telegram sending congratulations on our Bicentennial <br />celebrations. <br />E. A letter from Southern Pacific regarding the fencing <br />and living screen in regarding to the grade separation. <br />- 0 - <br />• <br />
