S. 31 Street Project(Fairmont to Main) <br /> City Engineer/Inspection Service Manager Bob Eng provided an update on the S. 3rd Street <br /> (Fairmont to Main) Project. Chairman Clausen asked the expected completed date for the project. <br /> Public Works Director Dave Mick responded the end of summer 2015. <br /> W. D Street Channel Improvements. <br /> City Engineer/Inspection Service Manager Bob Eng provided an update on the W. D Street <br /> Channel Improvements Project. There were no questions from Committee Members. <br /> W. D Street Channel Protection <br /> City Engineer/Inspection Service Manager Bob Eng provided an update on the W. D Street <br /> Channel Protection Project. There were no questions from Committee Members. <br /> F101 Drainage Channel (at Pipeline Corridor) <br /> City Engineer/Inspection Service Manager Bob Eng provided an update on the F101 Drainage <br /> Channel (at Pipeline Corridor) Project. There were no questions from Committee Members. <br /> Brookglen Detention Basins <br /> City Engineer/Inspection Service Manager Bob Eng provided an update on the Brookglen Detention <br /> Basins Project. <br /> Committee member Engelken asked for an update on the Brookglen Buy-Outs. Planning and <br /> Development Director Tim Tietjens responded all of the section in Gladewyne Court has been sold <br /> with the exception of one lot, and roughly thirteen other lots remaining north and south of <br /> Oakhaven; south of Ashwyne and east of Somerton. Committee member Engelken commented the <br /> maintenance issue of lots not being mowed by Harris County Flood Control District still exist and <br /> advised he has heard from several citizens regarding the issue. Committee member Engelken also <br /> commented he has concerns with Harris County Flood Control not complying with the City's local <br /> ordinances or FEMA's rules and. directed staff to send a letter to the Department of Justice. In <br /> addition, Committee member Engelken advised a homeowner at 3315 would like to install a fence <br /> at their expense on Harris County Flood Control property in order to keep their property from being <br /> vandalized. Public Works Director Dave Mick advised he will contact Hams County Precinct 2 <br /> regarding the Interlocal Agreement for eight (8) mowing cycles to the Brookglen Subdivision parcels <br /> owned and maintained by Harris County Flood Control District. <br /> Chairman Clausen agreed with Committee member Engelken and directed staff to add an item to a <br /> future City Council meeting to discuss sending a letter to the Justice Department regarding <br /> maintenance concerns of the Brookglen Buy-Out lots. <br /> Sens Road Reconstruction <br /> City Engineer/Inspection Service Manager Bob Eng provided an update on the Sens Road <br /> Reconstruction. Committee member Leonard asked if the relocation of utility lines are near <br /> completion.
