Council considered approving minutes of the regular meeting <br />held November 9, 1987. <br /> <br />Motion was made bv Counciloerson Waters to aoorove the <br />minutes of the November q meeting as read. Second by <br />Councilperson Lloyd. The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 <br />nays. <br /> <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Waters, Lloyd, Matuszak, Porter, <br />Shipp, Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />5. The Mayor proclaimed November 29 through December 5 as La <br />Porte Home Care Week. Ms. Peggie Terry and Ms. Linda <br />Meyers accepted the proclamation. <br /> <br />6. Ms. Alice Romero, Tri-Gas, Inc., presented Gary Williams, <br />EMS Assistant Director, with a check to the EMS to purchase <br />medical oxygen for the Service. Her donation was greatly <br />appreciated. <br /> <br />7. Council received a recommendation from the La Porte Golf <br />Course Advisory Board Chairman David Brady on the layout <br />and architectural design of the golf course club house. <br />After receiving Mr. Brady's recommendation, motion was made <br />bv Counciloerson Skelton to aoorove the design oresented <br />for the golf course club house. Second by Councilperson <br />Porter. The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Waters, Lloyd, Matuszak, Porter, <br />Shipp, Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />8. Council received a preliminary report on dangerous <br />buildings from Chief Building Official Ervin Griffith. <br />After the presentation, motion was made by Counciloerson <br />Llovd to set a oublic hearing date of Januarv 11 regarding <br />dangerous buildings. Second by Councilperson Waters. The <br />motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br />
