Mayor Porter led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />4. PRESENTATIONS / PROCLAMATIONS <br /> <br />A. Mayor Porter presented a Mary Gay Day Proclamation to Mary Gay. <br /> <br />B. Mayor Porter presented Certificate of Appreciation to Assistant City Attorney Clark Askins for six years <br />of service. <br /> <br />5. Consent Agenda <br /> <br />A. Consider approving Minutes of the Regular Meeting and Workshop Meeting held <br />on July 25, 2005. <br /> <br />B. Consider approving Minutes of the Budget Workshop Meetings held <br />on August 8 - 11, 2005. <br /> <br />C. Council to consider approval or other action regarding an agreement with City of Galveston and <br />Asplundh Environmental Services, Inc. <br /> <br />D. Council to consider awarding bid for Liquid Chlorine. <br /> <br />E. Council to consider awarding bid for Uniform Rental & Service. <br />
