CONSIDER AMENDMENTS TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE (CONTINUED) <br />Commissioner Simons stated that each request that was received <br />was given consideration before a decision was made and citizens <br />wishes were considered. <br />Mayor Meza asked if there was anyone else desiring to speak <br />in opposition? There was no one. <br />The Joint Public Hearing recessed at 7:30 P.M. for Planning <br />and Zoning Commission to consider the comments of the hearing <br />and then bring back their recommendation. <br />The Joint Public Hearing reconvened at 7:52 P.M. <br />Chairman Pat Muston addressed the Commission, stating that <br />the changes proposed were not great; they would comply with <br />F.H.A. requirements and were common to all areas around us; <br />felt it would have very little bearing on the proposed study; <br />stated that the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended that <br />the proposed changes be adopted. <br />• Motion by Commissioner Tomerlin that the proposed amendments <br />to the Zoning Ordinance not be placed on the agenda. Motion <br />died for lack of a second. <br />Motion by Commissioner Simons, seconded by Commissioner <br />Kibodeaux that the proposed amendments to the Zoning Ordinance <br />be placed on the next regular meeting. Motion carried by the <br />following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Kibodeaux, Simons and Mayor Meza. <br />NAYS: Commissioner Tomerlin. <br />+ + + <br />3.
