. SIGiiL CHEMICAL COMPANY ORDINANCE NO. 863 .' AN ORDINANCE DISANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY HERETOFORE ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF LA PORTE~ CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE: Section 1. The hereinafter described territory, which is now entirely located within the corporate limits of the City of La Porte, Texas, by prior annexation ordinances of the City of La Porte, is hereby disannexed from the corporate limits of the City of La Porte, and, after the effective date of this Ordinance, shall not constitute a part of the corporate terri- tory of the City of La porte, to-wit: e All of that certain tract or parcel of land, consisting of 154.145 acres, more or less, in the Richard Pearsall Survey, A-625, Harris County, Texas, conveyed to Signal Chemical Company by Deed dated December 31, 1969, and recorded in Volume 7862, Page 3, of the Deed Records of Harris County, Texas, reference to which is here made for all purposes. SAVE AND EXCEPT: The following part or portion of said tract or parcel: BEGINNING at an iron rod bearing the mark "2356" at the northeast corner of said 154.145 acre tract~ THENCE S.loOO'45"E. along a line a distance of 1609.61 feet to a point called plant coordinate north five plus seventy-three and west zero plus zero zero (N.5+73 and W.O+OO) for a corner; e THENCE S.88059'15"W. along a line a distance of 318.50 feet to a point called plant coordinate N.5+73 and W.3+l8.5 to a corner~ THENCE N.loOO'45"W. along a line a distance of 27l.50 feet to a point called plant coordinate N.8+44.5 and W.3+l8.5 for a corner~ THENCE N.88059'15"E. along a line a distance of 313.50 feet to a point called plant coordinate N.8+44.5 and W.O~05 to a point for a corner; THENCE N.loOO'45"W. along a line bearing a distance of 1237.86 feet to a point called plant coordinate N.20+8l.9 and W. 0+05 to a point for a- corner~ THENCE S.86052'54"W. along a line 100 feet south of and parallel to north line of said 154.54 acre tract a distance of 3089.42 feet to a point for a corner on west line of said 154.54 acre tract. e THENCE N.oo45124"W. along a line a distance of 100.08 feet to an iron rod bearing the mark "HPL 8", being the northwest corner of said 154.54 acre tract, to a point for a corner~
