<br />e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />867 , Page 2. <br /> <br />Ordinance No. <br /> <br />.' <br /> <br />official newspaper of the City of La Porte, and having general <br /> <br />circulation in the City of La Porte and in the territory pro- <br />posed to be annexed. Such notice and such hearing were in <br /> <br />conformity with the Municipal Annexation Act of 1963, Article <br /> <br />970a, Vernonia Annotated Texas Statutes. <br /> <br />Section 4. The City Commission of the Cityof La Porte <br /> <br />hereby institutes annexation proceedings as to the following <br /> <br />described territory, and the same is hereby declared annexed <br /> <br />to the City of La Porte, Texas, and the boundary limits of <br /> <br />the City of La Porte, Texas, be, and the same are hereby <br /> <br />extended to include the following described territory within <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />the City Limits of the City of La Porte, and the same shall <br /> <br />hereafter be included within the territorial limits of the <br /> <br />City of La Porte, and the inhabitants .thereof shall hereafter <br /> <br />be entitled to all rights and privileges of other citizens <br /> <br />of the City of La Porte, and they shall be bound by the acts, <br /> <br />ordinances, resolutions and regulations of the City of La Porte. <br /> <br />The territory to be so annexed is the same territory as <br /> <br />described in said Ordinance No. 864, and is more particularly <br /> <br />described as follows, to-wit: <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />All those tracts or parcels of land out of the W. P. <br />Harris Survey, A-30, out of Harris County, Texas, <br />and being more particularly described as follows: <br /> <br />COMMENCING at a point of intersection of the North <br />bank of Little Cedar Creek with the shoreline of <br />Galveston Bay~ <br /> <br />THENCE southwesterly, southerlY.i. and southeasterly <br />following the meanders of the shoreline of Galveston <br />Bay to a point at the intersection of the North line <br />of the Pine Bluff Addition'with the westerly shoreline <br />of Galveston Bay for a POINT OF BEGINNING~ <br /> <br />THENCE westerly along the North line of the Pine Bluff <br />Addition and the South line of the Crescent View <br />Addition to a point in the East right-of-way of State <br />Highway 146 (also known as South Broadway)~ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />THENCE northerly along the East right-of-way of <br />State Highway 146 to a point, said point being the <br />intersection of the East right-of-way of State <br />Highway 146 with an eastward projection of the North <br />right-of-way of McCabe Road; <br />
